Brisbane has two express CityCat routes. They run weekday peak periods only, so don't count on them outside commuting hours.

The routes

  • F11: Apollo Road to Riverside
  • F12: West End to QUT Gardens Point

According to Wikipedia, express services skip some stops. Express morning-peak services began in early 2010.

Express or all-stops?

The all-stops CityCat (F1) runs daily from UQ St Lucia to Northshore Hamilton. Choose an express when you're travelling between its end points in the peak, such as Apollo Road to the city. Otherwise the F1 is the one to take.

Times

The council page doesn't give first and last services or frequencies. Check Translink's timetable for the exact times of the F11 and F12.
