PR #1, "First deploy prep: Firebase Hosting, absolute API URL, public CORS, CI", was merged on 21 October 2026. Its own summary is careful: nothing is deployed by this PR.
It planned a static site on Firebase Hosting with the API at a separate address. Browser calls such as the contact form and header search switched to an absolute public API URL, and a CORS rule was added for the public /api/public/* routes only, with no wildcards and no credentials. A CI workflow ran gofmt, build, vet and tests for the Go API, built the admin with pnpm, and built the Astro site against a real Postgres and API, because the site is generated from the API.
The PR also added an opt-in Firebase deploy after each content rebuild. That setup didn't last long: the next big PR moved hosting into a single container.
